Health Screening

Last week was coy health screening. And included in the package was blood tests.
And you know what happen again. If you dunno, you are going to know soon.

When it's my turn to get draw, the blood-drawer topo-ed in my arm. I know abit GG liao.
After 10s still not done with the 1st tube / 3 tubes. And I start to black out already. I told him, I'm going to GG. He okok. then 3s later, i tell him I really going to GG. Then he faster draw/leak out the last few drops and ask 1 health screening aunty to help. Aunties all very excited compassionate,  and all came over to take care of me. And I was sitting there bending over, with my head below my knee level, so blood can flow to my head. I came up after 2min, then I started to lose colour again. And bend back down. -_-

So I manage to conned convinced ppl to treat me a cup of free milo.
And rest somewhr so the Q can cont moving. (Yes, no need go back work so fast)
During which I had my BP measured again 3X. 1st time the value only 60+. (My BP b4 blood test was 120+)
When my BP was back to 100, I was deem ready to continue the test (another 2 tubes).
Bring it on dude!
Haha, this time no more faint, but took very long again. Blood flow was very slow. Blood guy say amount draw was barely enough. But want to draw more also not simple.

Yay, end of ordeal :))))

The next day HR send me mail. Say blood test fail, because blood collected had clogged and cannot be used to test. DAFUG?!
Sounds like tio TOTO. Jin epic.

And I redid my blood test on Sat. Another blood drawer (Level 90+ I suspect, because he seems lao jiao, 50+ yo) was on the case. Since my left arm was already punctured 2x, he despise it and aim my right arm instead. For the first tube, he use the flowing method. can tell that it took quite long again, uncle not very happy with the speed. Then he switch tactical, and use syringe poke the thick vein on my forearm near the wrist. OMGWTFBBQ. Pain intensity increase by 10x. As he pulling blood out, I feel my soul leaving my body again. Wooo, start to blur blur again. Lucky very fast finish and I use the bend over method again.
Sit there to nua 5min, then go out and nua another 5min. Not simple =.=

So I have 4 holes for 5, not very full tubes (unless you want me to start the it's full, if you include the air), of blood. I feel so holey now!

Let's hope I'm juz weak to blood test. And nothing else is wrong. Ok, off to rub my bruises.

Sentosa

After x years of not going to sentosa, I have been to sentosa this year for the y times.
Hmm, will it become (y+z) this year, where z is > 0?

New Phone

Got a new phone after 25month with my E72.
S2 is my choice, as S3 is too ex. HTC one S having the same capability as S2, despite coming out 1 year later. Decided to stick with the tested and proven.

But then even buying S2 also 一波many折. Singtel at JP keep telling me OOS. Then that day I went down at 6pm finally got stock. Waited for dad to come home (line under him) and went down at 8. Customer service told me S2 ish old model OOS. I was like wat the TOOT*. Then she say "Wait, I check." Came out with 1, and tell me I heng cause left last 1. CSS (cool story sis).

And thus, new phone. TADA...
This also marks the end of my relationship with Nokia. After sticking with them since sec1?
(Unless Nokia pick up their game if not they gonna be GG)

And now I'm a big noob using touch phone. Sms speed down 50%. Learning curve =x
Hope I dun get too engross in playing games on my phone. Got tips or useful apps (best is free) plz share. Xie xie....

Wa! July already?!

Sorry, no part 2 for those who waited for 3 months =P

Just back(2 weeks) from my bkk trip. Still rmb the last time I went were during p4 or p5 end of year!
16 years already!
BKK really appears so different. Many more high rises, shopping center etc (not that I actually rmb wat I saw then).
This trip we really abit bossy. Haha eat so many atas food, spending per meal Singapore's equivalent to average restaurant cost. Eat till need to exchange more money, -_-". Speaking of which, the money changer there all dominated by banks which give lousy exchange rates! Rawr, angry!
We chartered a boat, quite bo liao, nothing much to see...
(Evil said, not money charter plane, at least can charter boat. Speaking like a boss indeed)

Long time no see

Wow, 不知不觉又过了两个月.
Within these 2 months many things happened.
Some good, 1 very bad, 1 very good.
Should sort by chronological order.

Spend 3 shopping trips to get V's bday present.
Jin epic. There was this time we finally decided on his present, only to have the last piece bought by some1 else 10min prior -_-"
In the end, need to change plan.
And he had a unforgettable bday. A case of no pain no gain, nv try nv know?
Admire his courage.


Went to Sentosa after like 5 year hiatus, on April's Fool Day.
Did the Luge, 4D pirate, merlion tower, and marine museum for the half day sentosa fun pass after sweeping grandparent's tomb in the morning.

Luge was fun thou short. Really feel like going again and again. haha, 1 time really not enough!
Saw some ppl struck halfway on the circuit. Lol, they no skill =X
Hollanded while trying to get to 4D pirate... Like a noob,zzz.

4D pirate got epic moment when the staff says no photography is allowed then got 1 guy stood up and videocam 360 degree. LOL. Total bo chup the staff.
Half way in the show/ride, got baby cry, guess he didnt like getting sprayed by water.

Merlion Tower is just about Sun-ni-na-wu-ta-ma, and the sentosa view, combined with a merlion keychain.

Spend the most time in the marine museum. Like 2h?
Inside got another ride/show, very water splashy and cold. Brrr.
Came out of the room semi-wet.

Ate dinner at the malaysia food streets. Quite crowded. But food was good.
Finally end with crane dance.

End of CNY + Working frenzy

With the end of CNY, comes the end of the intense Ban-luck/In-Between session.

Over the course of 15 days, I have had 4 days of 'gaming'.
Overall, I didnt win or lose. Haha.
And I didnt tio TOTO again. Maybe later part of the year =x

Angbao wise, for this year there is significant increase. Maybe people getting more huat?
Or that more ppl married liao.

With the end of CNY, there wun be any more holiday till Good Fri which is in April.
And if that's not depressing enough, this period marks the peak of my working volume, with 3 concurrent projects. Mass OT already on the way, with this month maybe bursting my OT cap.
Tasukete.... T_T

Oh well, my boss is more stressed, hope he stays cool.

Anyway, next tue is V-day. Wishing all lovers happy 2gether. And for singles like me, happy 1gether. LOL. Smile :D and Kiss <3 (the right one, dun anihow muckz)

Spiderman

Last week Sat or Sun (I couldnt recall), I had a dream.

I dream that I was spiderman and web-swinging in a unknown area, either hiding from or chasing a particular being. I didnt know who or what I was hiding/chasing.

I wonder if that's an reflection of my life. Or because I have read a book about a person parktoring across rooftops. Maybe both =/

My first concert

Last sat I caught my first concert.
It was at indoor stadium by 萧敬腾.
Going to indoor stadium reminds me of NDP days during NS.
Totally slavery T_T
But let's not deviate.

So I was there punctually by 8 with the seats 60% occupied already.
By the time the concert started at 820, 90% seats were filled up.
Ok, enouf of the stats.

And here comes the man in gold armour.
I like that costume. Quite satki.
And I was startled by the first burst of pyrotechnics -_- (wat a noob)
Singing was great. Especially his rock songs and hits.
(I wished I had a light stick(not the saber) to wave along at some point of time when I felt like it.)
I think he sang too many other ppl songs liao.
He danced in his last segment while sporting a LED-lit underwear wore on the outside.
Quite comical but entertaining.
He didnt speak much thru-out the concert, constantly asking us "你们好吗？" LOL

Then came the encore and the re-encore.
The concert ended ard a quarter past 11, just when I started getting worried about transportation. He's really thoughtful to make sure most of us can leave to catch the public transport home. Haha.
And on the mrt back, I was stalked by my sis's frens, who reported my whereabouts to my sis (I didnt know I was so popular, or actually my sis is a control-freak =x)
That's another cool story for another hot day ;)

EOY 2011 summary + 2012 Resolutions

SOP for every year

This year I removed my braces in FEB juz b4 valentine, like what the dentist said, 来不及 for cny, at least 来得及for la ji during valentine. Just that there no one for me to la ji. LOL, and that the dentist didnt really say the above =x

Graduated with my 1% chance of 2nd lower due to FYP getting A. (Evil claimed that it was undertable dealings, but he's juz jelly ;P)

Went Taiwen with my cliche. Got me _____ again. Haiz.

Found a job after 1 month of serious looking and about 8 interviews.

Now to review 2011 resolutions

IPPT silver --> CAT Y rocks :D
Weight 65 --> Now only 62-63, and fats increase again, especially since working, gain 1" waistline ZOMG
Continously Improvement --> =/
Toto --> Soon?
Decent Job --> At least it's not indecent, nothing more


Then for 2012,
1) IPPT silver ( the real test starts now)
2) 65kg without gaining another inch at the waist (RAWR)
3) Take at least 1 course on my own. Be it physical or intellectual
4) Be more proactive damn it!

Lastly rmb to maintain the pureness of the heart.

May it be a happy and rewarding 2012 for all of us :)

等一个人 咖啡

一切的开始要从某天的电视节目。电视正在讨论着这位著名作家，九把刀，的新电影。电影的内容是由他的真实经历改编而成。而之前也早就写完并成为了畅销小说。
在那节目的专访，我被他的风采和谈吐所吸引，也被那有趣的电影情节抓住。

之前，我就在网上观赏电影的预告片和搜寻九把刀的其他作品。不久后，我手里就拿着他的小说。

九把刀的写作范围很广，有武侠，文学，爱情，恐怖悬疑等。
《等一个人 咖啡》是到现在我最喜欢的一本（1 out of 4 read）。

故事的大纲是说一位在咖啡厅打工的工读妹，思萤，喜欢上了某位帅顾客，最后顾客终于和她表白，但她却发现她真正喜欢的是她的‘兄弟/姐妹’，阿拓。
Haha, explained 得太简单了吧，but 爱情故事就是那么简单。
（不然你以为 Kdrama 啊？你是我哥 or OMG, my dad and your mom last time lover, we r half siblings -_-，哇靠！别逼我K你！）

故事有趣的地方就在人物之间的互动。作者加入许多天马行空的ideas, 例如阿拓身旁都是有趣的角色，像爱看电影的黑道大哥，去金刀婶的洗衣店吃超级好吃但名字anihow的大餐。
这些惊喜都为故事添色不少。

好了，就写到这里。
有兴趣的朋友不妨到library自己借来看，一起进入九把刀的世界。

1 month

So fast and it's 1 month since I start working.

Life pretty routine, lots of number everyday.
My new boss seems pretty easy going, and likes to take up challenges.

And I got sick 1h into work ytd.
Suddenly I was like having blur vision and drowsy and headache.
Try to dong and hope it's just for a min.

Got off work by 1130 and driven by the nice HR lady and saw the coy doc.
He say is tension headache.
Went home eat medicine and slpt.
Was feeling much better by mid afternoon.

Haiz, more work left to clear =/
Guess I gonna OT again next week.

Work

After close to 10 interviews, I got my first engineering related offer.

As with all crossroad, this is a head exploding decision.
Especially since I dun have clear goal/passion in life =/
(still need to cont my search or discover)

After thinking over the day and asking my dad, I decided to accept the offer.

So that means I'm employed. And work starts tmr! On a thurs! Yay, I'm so excited that I cant slp! (The fact is my bio-clock haven adjust to normal/standard working hours)
So I will probably stare at the ceiling tonight or something. 眼金金 then tmr eye small small haha
Hope not, tmr morning i da coffee for morning and lunch, shd be powerful enough.

And I need more shopping, not enough office wear. If not always recycle the same few top (shy)
btm no 1 can tell aniway =x

Ya, so in short no more late nights, thou I probably will still be pretty much staring at the com, juz a diff one. Hope it will be an enriching journey!

Convocation

Finally graduated after 4 years in NTU.
Looking back it only seems like ytd.
All the people I met, all the stuff I've learnt (and mostly forgotten)
I'm grateful.

Twmm, shopping, that's sum it up in 2 words.

Twmm very nice. Fair, nice skin, nice figures, nice dressing.
Shd have gotten 1. Hahaa...
Ok, dun get too carried away.

With zha bors in the grp, shopping is guaranteed to be the key feature.
By their strength combined, they wiped over a dozen pairs of shoes.
I estimate 88.8889% of the shopping time were spent on buying shoes.

Other key highlights
Lots of tea, Slave, Food, Taxi 张大哥in kenting/kaohsiung
Rain -__-", Room stealers, Mr. Roller, Ms. Slippery, Train Rides, etc...

Thou we didnt go many places, we had fun nvtheless.
And what was that supposed to mean?

Haiz go in 1st day test system tio caught, sad half T_T
Need to more tactical.

This had been the most relaxing ICT yet, thou I heard the previous one was equally relaxing.
But then, no more relaxing ICT anymore. It's going to be high key all the way.

Sian, I definitely dun miss the vicious mozzie bites, which I kenna like a dozen on my temples.
Cannot bite my body, they aim my face. Dam DL.

Boy was I so wrong.

Wa liew, tio pattern liao. Even as I drag myself to the lab, the lab tech also stun.

As I check the machine booking list, how come no ppl using the machine now?!

Now i need to go back sch on tue and wed and wrapped it up.
I shd have met him on fri, so he llst cause I really not free by then.

Back to today, today was dumpling day/dragon boating day. 五月初五 on 6 of June. 93.3 FM Radio say once in 108 years. DJ Peifen say 5566 should gather and eat dumpling tgt....

Today was the first anniversary of our clique outing.
Still rmb that day, I almost didnt wan to come out. I would have miss meeting this group of great frens.
On the other note, I took IPPT the day b4 the outing, now I going to take the IPPT tmr. Haha, bo bi I 1 time silver unlike last year, dun think i got motivation to cont training after ICT + TW trip.

Things to do this week

1. cut hair + get supplies + many other sh*t rdy for ICT
2. plan finish iti
3. do finish (really finish) fyp
4. adjust body clock for 6am-12am life
   

I can start no 4 by ending this long post and go slp now. bye

Yay, presentation over. Did ok by my standard I guess.
Left abit of head and tail for fyp then really nothing liao.

Been slacking lately. Watch a couple of movie, played badminton, pool.
I jumped shot pool ball into the hole, after badminton, haha, so hilarious.
Evil(long time no appear) said I used up my luck for the day.
I proved him wrong, I was undisputed champ for pool that day.
Wif my tyconess skill of course ;P
Zk was sad, he wanted to lan.
Maybe next time...

Juz finished planning tw trip hotel, still need to settle iti =/
Well, more slacking till I turn green. Cant wait to sing now. Bwahaha...

Final

Submitted my FYP report.
Now left 4 papers for exam and presentation.

Final sem symptom is really scary.
No mood to study, die liao....
No super scary module this sem, but no super confident module either.
I wan to pull, but at this rate, is more like a fantasy.

Not been running much either, all my training prior to May getting wasted.
Should have clear my ippt earlier, but there were datelines for reports etc ;_;

Went for a couple of interviews, knew which areas I need to work on. But knowing and doing is quite different, hopefully can overcome my weakness. (or at least hide/smoke)

Haiz, last stretch faster get over it and done with!
I wan study no more!!! (at least for now =x)

Quick Updates

Long time nv update.
So many things happening lately!

Celebrate vic bday, followed by mine.
Love the card and the bag!

Taiwan trip juz booked air tic, haven settle hotel and itinerary.

Then there was fyp frenzy. Juz submit my 1st draft today. Not quite completed, still got many parts I'm not satisified with :(

Prof comm not done, 4011 srsly behind time, and lag in studies :(

This sem is my least Au(s) sem= supposed to be slackest, but the 2nd half of it is so going to be busiest!
It's gonna be a mad rush all the way till the exams! Argh!

Dad bday next week, haven buy prezzie for him yet. Any1 need a godpa?
